During his show in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Monday (April 18), Glock took a break from playing his songs and played Dolph's hit "100 Shots," which was written in response to the failed attempt on Dolph's life that took place in 2017.
The Paper Road King was headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for the weekend of the Central American Athletic Association (CIAA) Championship when his SUV was shot at more than 100 times and he got away without a scratch. He went on to perform with Migos and 21 Savage at a CIAA-related event at Charlotte's Cameo Night Club that evening.
"A hundred kicks, a hundred shots," Dolph sings on the track. "How can you forget a hundred pictures?"

Glock's explanation sent people into a frenzy, as the Memphis musician then sang Dolph's 2014 song "Preach." The fans hung on every word of the finale, allowing Glock to enjoy the moment.
Young Dolph was killed in his hometown of Memphis in 2021. Aside from a few heartbreaking Instagram posts, Glock has kept quiet about his mentor's death. He finally spoke about the incident for the first time in an interview with Complex on April 5.
